1. Wash and dry your hands.
2. Remove one patch from its foil and place it on a clean, dry fingertip.
3. Gently place the rough side of the patch on the ulcer and press for a few seconds so it sticks.
4. The patch dissolves and forms a protective barrier over the ulcer.
5. For best results, apply about 30 minutes before eating or drinking.
